Duties

Duties of the President

  • The president shall preside over all the meeting and lead all deputations.
  • The president shall have one original vote and a casting vote on all regulations at all meetings and the right of casting votes at all election and meetings.
  • At the annual general meeting the president may address the member such subject, as he may deem proper to bring to their notice.
  • When the office of the secretary or treasurer is vacant until the vacancy is filled up the president shall power of the secretary or the treasurer or may delegate such powers to the vice president or any other member of the committee.
  • The president shall be in charges of and supervise the administration of the association of the associations and shall for the purpose exercise control direction and supervision over other office bearers.

Duties of Vice President

  • The vice president shall have the power and perform duties of the president in his absence.

Duties of the Secretary

  • The secretary or in his absence the joint secretary shall be in charge of the day-to-day administration of the association and shall for that purpose exercise control direct and supervise the affairs of the association.

Duties of the Joint Secretary

  • The secretary or in his absence the joint secretary shall be in charge of the day-to-day administration of the association and shall for that purpose exercise control direct and supervise the affairs of the association.

Duties of Treasurer

The treasurer shall receive money and maintain accounts of the funds of the association and of funds connected with or in any way controlled by association and attend the followings:

  • To receive money and give receipts and issue discharge for the money received by him on behalf of the association.
  • To sign cheques, which shall be countersigned by the president or secretary.
  • To have custody of all account books, bank cheque books passbooks and other vouchers and paper relating to and connected with finance and accounts.
  • To do all such things and exercise such powers as may be directed or assigned by the committee from time to time.
